Kyrgyz Republic Freight Forwarders Association (KRFFA) was founded on February, 2004. By now, KRFFA unites 15 forwarding companies interested in activity of the Association and willing to render services at the highest level.

In 2005 KRFFA joined The International Federation of Freight Forwarders Associations (FIATA).

KRFFA is a non-profit group, uniting transporting and forwarding organizations on basis of voluntary membership for extension of cooperation, coordination of activities, ensuring the rights, and for representation and protection of the main interests of organization members in governmental structures, public and international organizations.

Primary areas of KRFFA activity are:

- Union of forwarding companies for coordination of activity in achievement of the corporate goals, protection of joint interests and prevention of unfair competition

- Representation, advocacy and protection of Association member's professional interests in state, private, foreign and international organizations on the territory of Kyrgyz Republic and in foreign countries;

- Organizational development and improvement of professional skills of the Association members' trough educational seminars, trainings, symposiums, contests, exhibitions, release of booklets, newspapers, magazines, etc;

- Supplying members of the Association with all the information needed for improvement of forwarding process;

- Rendering of organizational, advisory, legal and other support to members of the Association.
